Role Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Receiving Coordinator to work in our logistics/warehouse department based in our Shrewsbury, MA office. This is a full-time temp to perm position, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Successful performance and attendance during the initial 90 days will transition into a permanent position.  This position will be responsible to receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of raw materials, product, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Match packing slips and delivery notes with purchase orders and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Coordinate with procurement and quality control teams for any non-conformances or rejections.
  • Maintain accurate records of received materials using ERP management systems (Infor).
  • Communicate with vendors and carriers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
  • Prepare receiving reports and assist in inventory cycle counts or audits.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to warehouse organization, material flow, and safety practices.
  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the receiving area.
  • Collaborate with the shipping and warehousing teams to ensure efficient material flow and production readiness.
  • Follow 5S and lean manufacturing principles and practices in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment

 

Skills and Requirements 

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control environment 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities
  • Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills

 

The pay range for this role is $25-$35 per hour. Compensation is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
